Janelle Xhvs and Parking Sun - spark

2:27 minutes (3.93 MB)

this is a bit of a collaboration betwixt janelle and I, or at least the first draft of such.

i was going for something minimal and acoustic sounding with lotsa tambourines, but it was a heavily drum'n'bass week and no sooner had i realised that the wooden spoon i just recorded would make an awesome snare than the rhythm line had raged out of control. dunno what janelle will do to it next, but i look forward to finding out.

Kerbside Pickup by Parking Sun and Sarah Logan

47:28 minutes (43.46 MB)

This is a piece prepared for the Sunday Night at the movies on Sydney's FBI 94.5FM. As their write-up says:

Tune in this Sunday for kerbside pickup, a mystery action adventure of two explorers who can't quite remember how their tales join up. A big new year's, and a morning after with beds stuffed full of witches' hats and horses' heads, the story continues this week on Sunday Night at the Movies from 9 on 94.5

Two segment of the show were prepared in isolation by Sarah Logan and Parking Sun, then stitched together... a simple audio exquisite corpse.
